Beverley RUFC are delighted to be awarded a donation from the pupils of Molescroft Primary School.
Just before Christmas the Pupil Council at Molescroft Primary School sat down and reviewed where they would share the monies that they fundraised to go to the local community organisations, we are thrilled to be able to disclose that Beverley RUFC was awarded £300! This year’s fundraising by the children exceeded £8000 in total. The pupils generously gave funds towards other sporting and community activity groups and we are all especially proud that they have felt the rugby club was a deserving cause.
“The headmaster reached out through parents to local organisations and invited them to put forward their case to get some funding. Some of the children from the school are already Beavers and on our side, and then we explained all the other good work we’re doing in the community as well as the development of rugby, and we were deemed a deserving cause, which I think is praise indeed for all of us at the rugby club” commented Beverley RUFC’s Chairman, Brian Gilbert.
Thank you to all the children at Molescroft Primary School!
